Our mission
The internet is full of great utility sites — and full of sites that abuse them. Too many “free” tools hide your file behind upsells, pepper you with dark patterns, or silently upload your documents. We built ToolBox as an alternative: a single, well-crafted place with all the everyday utilities that respect your time, your privacy, and your bandwidth.
If a job can be done in the browser with open source, we prefer doing it that way. If it needs a server someday, we will be loud and clear about what is uploaded, why, and for how long.
