About Case Converter

The Case Converter changes the capitalisation and style of text in one click. Use it to fix text typed with Caps Lock on, to format headings, or to turn phrases into identifiers for code.

Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word and does not apply style-guide rules for small words such as "of" or "the". The code styles (camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case) are applied to each line separately. Your text stays in your browser and is not sent to a server.

Features

  • Seven case styles
  • Handles multiple lines and accented letters
  • Splits existing camelCase and symbols into words for code styles
  • One-click copy

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises every word, like a headline. Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence, like normal writing.

What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case used for?

They are naming styles for code, file names and URLs. camelCase joins words with capitals, snake_case with underscores and kebab-case with hyphens.

Does Sentence case keep names capitalised?

No. It lowercases everything except sentence starts, so proper nouns and acronyms need to be fixed by hand.
