JPG to PDF

Turn JPG, PNG and other photos into a single PDF with a couple of clicks.

How to use JPG to PDF

  1. Drop the first photo. You can keep adding images until every page you want is in the list.
  2. Reorder or remove images using the overlay controls, then pick A4, US Letter or "Fit image" as the page size.
  3. Click Create PDF and download the resulting file.

About JPG to PDF

JPG to PDF embeds one or more photos or screenshots into a PDF, one image per page, using pdf-lib. JPG files are embedded natively (no re-encoding) so there is no generational quality loss. PNGs are converted into the PDF image model and remain lossless in the final file.

With the default A4 or Letter modes the image is centered inside 36 pt margins and scaled to fit. With "Fit image" each page is exactly the size of the image with no borders added, and the file name caption is omitted. Caption text is embedded using a standard Helvetica font so every PDF reader can show it.

Features

  • Accept JPG, PNG and every other format the browser can decode
  • A4, US Letter and Fit-image page sizes
  • Unlimited images in a single job, reorderable
  • No re-encoding for JPG source files — maximum quality preserved

Frequently asked questions

Does the order I add them in matter?

Yes. The first image becomes page 1, the second image page 2, and so on. Use the up/down arrows to reorder before you build the PDF.

Will the PDF contain searchable text of my photos?

No — the images are embedded as images, not OCRed. If you need searchable text, run the PDF through an OCR tool after creating it.

My portrait photo looks very small on the page. Why?

If you selected A4 or Letter, a tall photo is scaled down to fit inside the page margins. Switch to "Fit image" to make the page exactly match the photo dimensions.
